Safe energy infrastructure begins with engineering and continues through behaviour.
Azari Energy integrates HSE into development, design, construction and operations because electrical, construction and environmental risks cannot be managed by policy language alone.
Design out risk where practical
Equipment arrangement, access, isolation, fire separation, lifting points and traffic design can reduce exposure before procedures are written.
Electrical safety
Earthing, protection, lockout and tagout, test-before-touch practices, competent switching and safe work boundaries are fundamental.
Construction controls
Excavation, lifting, work at height, temporary power, transport and contractor interfaces require planned controls and competent supervision.
Environmental protection
Spills, waste, drainage, dust, noise, vegetation and hazardous materials should be managed according to the project’s actual impacts.
Competence and authority
People need the training and authority to stop unsafe work. Schedule pressure should not override critical safety controls.
Incident learning
Near misses, injuries and environmental events should be reported, investigated proportionately and translated into corrective action.
Leadership responsibility
Senior decisions affect scope, schedule, procurement and contractor behaviour. HSE therefore remains a management responsibility, not only an HSE department function.
