Operations
The project has to keep working after the construction team leaves.
Azari Energy treats operations, maintenance, monitoring, spares and competence as design requirements for long-lived energy infrastructure.

Operating model
Responsibility for control room functions, field maintenance, contractor support, customer interfaces and compliance should be clear before commercial operation.
Preventive maintenance
Schedules should reflect manufacturer requirements, duty, environment and asset criticality rather than waiting for failures.
Spares and obsolescence
Critical spares, consumables, lead times and technology obsolescence can affect availability for years. Procurement strategy should recognise that exposure.
Data and performance
Reliable metering, alarms, trends, outage records and maintenance history help distinguish a real performance problem from anecdote.
Incident response
Electrical faults, fire, environmental events, cyber issues and equipment failures need escalation and recovery procedures appropriate to the asset.
Contractor management
OEMs and service contractors can be essential, but asset knowledge and accountability should not disappear into external contracts.
Continuous improvement
Operating evidence should feed back into maintenance, training, procurement and future project design so later assets benefit from earlier experience.
